Hakuin Ekaku - Hotei's Sound of One Hand

The poem on the right scroll is:

When they have filial piety,
children and grandchildren succeed
to their parents' prosperity
in this floating world.

The poem on the left scroll is:

Three worlds, only one mind,
Outside the mind, no other law;
Mind-Buddha extends to all mankind
Throughout the world without differentiation.
